Mac App Store distribution is the primary path. This page covers the backup workflow for managed environments that need direct signed+notarized deployment or support-assisted Order Playbooks coordination.
Primary deployment
Mac App Store first
- • ClinScreen is a free download on the Mac App Store.
- • Use Order Playbooks in-app when StoreKit is available.
- • Minimum supported macOS is 14.
Backup path
Direct signed+notarized download
Direct download is available as a backup path for constrained environments.
This path is intended for constrained environments that cannot use normal Mac App Store deployment.

Outside the app, support can coordinate standard invoice procurement for managed-playbook credits when App Store purchasing is unavailable.

- • Protocol Playbook Credit: $300 per 1 protocol added to a bundled playbook
- • Amendment Update Credit: $150 per 1 protocol amendment added or updated
- • Turnaround target: 5 business days after complete materials.
What to include in your email
- • Organization name and contact details
- • Whether Mac App Store access is blocked, or only in-app purchases are blocked
- • Whether you need direct signed+notarized deployment guidance
- • If requesting managed-playbook help: the credit type, protocol PDF, and any optional site screening script
- • If you already purchased in app: include the Order ID shown in the app
Do not include patient identifiers, raw transcripts, or raw audio in support emails.
