Current workflow

How ClinScreen works today

The current release is macOS-first and built around speakerphone mode, behind-the-scenes on-device transcription, local-only call content handling, free Build/Edit Playbook authoring in SCOPE, and explicit export controls.

01

Create or open a playbook in SCOPE

Use Build/Edit Playbook in SCOPE to build playbooks for free and save the canonical .csp format.

02

Start a speakerphone capture session

Current release scope uses Speakerphone Mode. The phone call is not connected to the Mac; the Mac microphone captures room audio including both sides.

03

Review prompts and criteria tracking

ClinScreen keeps the coordinator in control with behind-the-scenes on-device transcription, protocol-grounded prompts, and criteria tracking during the call.

04

Stop and review the summary

After stop, ClinScreen produces a criteria-mapped summary with evidence and follow-up context for operational review.

05

Redact and export explicitly

Export is explicit user action with preview and redaction first. Raw transcript and audio remain session-only by default, while persisted artifacts are summary-only by default.

Playbooks

SCOPE is the primary playbook workflow.

Use Build/Edit Playbook in SCOPE to build, edit, save, reopen, and share playbooks directly in the app. The normal save and share artifact is the canonical .csp file.

Protocol PDF and TXT import can generate a draft playbook locally for human review inside SCOPE before save.

Operational boundaries

Local medication cues stay informational.

ClinScreen can surface local medication cues and conservative follow-up prompts during a session. Those cues remain confirmation-required only and do not establish diagnosis, criterion truth, or automatic protocol fit.

Guardrails
  • Decision support for pre-screening workflows.
  • • One call can pre-screen multiple protocols simultaneously when using a bundled playbook.
  • • Continuity capture is not part of the current release.
  • • Direct signed+notarized download is a backup path for constrained environments, not the primary distribution path.
