How ClinScreen works
ClinScreen provides real-time AI support for pre-screening calls. It supports Patient Recruiters and Clinical Research Coordinators with in-the-moment prompts, clarifying questions, and a structured wrap-up summary. Get the benefits of AI without replacing the human conversation.
Set up the study
Upload protocol materials and generate a simple “cheat sheet” view of key inclusion/exclusion criteria. ClinScreen helps standardize what Patient Recruiters/CRCs reference during calls—without adding extra steps.
- • Protocol-guided criteria highlights
- • Suggested clarifying questions
- • Playbook generated from protocol + ICF
Support live pre-screening calls
ClinScreen runs on a shared site MacBook as a call copilot. It listens via your chosen audio setup (speakerphone or a simple wired audio tap kit), suggests next best questions, flags uncertainty explicitly, and keeps the recruiter in control.
- • Real-time guidance on the MacBook (human stays in control)
- • Clarifications for meds, labs, and history
- • Helps correct common mistakes and omissions
Generate a structured summary
ClinScreen produces a criteria-mapped summary of the call so downstream screening can focus on what matters. If you run multiple studies, you can optionally use ClinScreen to help redirect strong leads to another study.
- • Summary mapped to key criteria
- • Next-step recommendations
- • Optional multi-study routing
What the Patient Recruiter and Study Coordinator sees
ClinScreen is designed to feel like a clean “call console” that guides the conversation while preserving rapport and clinical judgment. The goal is to reduce cognitive load and help newer team members perform closer to your best Patient Recruiters and CRCs.
- • “Ask about recent systemic therapy within the last X weeks.”
- • “Clarify anticoagulant use (name, dose, and indication).”
- • “Confirm contraception requirements and timing.”
- • Structured summary mapped to key criteria
- • Follow-up questions and open items
- • Suggested next steps (screening visit vs. alternate study)
ClinScreen is a decision support tool for pre-screen calls. It does not provide medical advice and does not make enrollment decisions. Sites retain control of eligibility determinations and confirm all criteria through their established screening workflow.
Security
ClinScreen is built to minimize friction for sites. Our default configuration is local-first and session-only, with identifiers optional and OFF by default.
By default, call content is processed for the live session and used to generate the structured summary. Raw audio and raw transcripts are not uploaded to the cloud in local-only mode.
You can run without patient identifiers, or enable them if your workflow requires.
On-device transcription and local redaction are designed to keep sensitive call content under site control.
